Ciara is set to release her brand new single ‘Gimme Dat’ on 29th November. The sexy, funky, up-tempo track will be closely followed by the release of her fourth studio album ‘Basic Instinct’ on 13th December.

The album sees Ciara going back to her roots while pushing her music further than she ever has before. She says: “With this album I wanted to take it back to the basics and bring back the bass. At the same time, I’m still showing my growth and trusting my first instinct, my basic instinct on everything – my music choices and creative choices.”

As well as a hugely successful music career she has also debuted in her first movie role, the MTV Films picture ‘All You’ve Got’ and has become a rising model, a natural progression cemented by her appearance in the June/July 2010 French edition of Vogue.

Global superstar Ciara is most famous for her smash single Love, Sex and Magic featuring Justin Timberlake which sold an astonishing 300,000 copies in the UK alone last year. She first came to our attention in 2004 with her debut album 'Goodies’, which sold over 3 million records worldwide and achieved platinum status in the UK. Her debut single 'Goodies' held the number one position in the Billboard 100 singles chart for an amazing 7 consecutive weeks and reached the number one slot in the UK charts. She followed this with two further top 5 singles ‘1, 2 Step’ featuring Missy Elliot and ‘Oh’ featuring Ludacris, both taken from her debut album ‘Goodies’.

Since hitting the music scene at 18-years old, Ciara has continuously topped the charts and earned praise as an all-around entertainer with four Grammy nominations (including best new artist), five ASCAP awards for songwriting, two MTV Video Music Awards and ‘Entertainer of the Year Award’ at the Soul Train Awards.
